RICHARD SMITH
Real Rodders Wheels selected Richard Smith’s Hemi-powered ’34 Ford as the “2006 ULTIMATE HOT ROD of the YEAR”! This car reflects Richard’s ability to create a period-perfect look, right down to the louvers on the trunk, and the REAL RODDERS WHEELS giving it the proper Big-Little look of the time.
STEVE FRISBIE
’32 3 window coupe Brookeville body with Real Rodders Wheels 15×4.5 Dragmasters on the front, and our new 16″ Trick 6 Dragmasters on the rear. Our Trick 6 has the look of a 16×8, but is actually a 16×6. It fits perfectly on the rear of this coupe to give it the needed deep look. This car has a supercharged aluminum Ardun motor backed by a 6 speed Tremec TKO.
Follow this car in the magazines, like Street Rodder, in the coming months. WOW – What a beauty !!
JOE KUGEL
Anyone who reads custom car and truck magazines will recognize the name Joe Kugel. Of course, his chassis and suspension components are among the best, if not the best, in the business.
Check out his cool ’32 4 door with Real Rodders Original Wheels. You won’t see many of these cars out there!
JERRY KUGEL
The Kugel Family ’29 Bonneville roadster (raced ’77 to ’96), the new Muroc roadster which just went 201 mph at the salt flats (it was driven home by the way!) as well as their 1992 Pontiac Trans Am which Jerry, Joe, and Jeff eclipsed 300 mph in, will be on display in Del Mar. A question and answer seminar with the Kugels and autograph session is also scheduled.
KEN SCHNIEDERS
These pictures were taken at Bonneville in 2008. The fronts are 15 x 5.5 and the rears are the 15 x 8 Trick 8’s.
As a trick to keep the wheels nice, I coated the wheels with PAM vegetable spray. When I got home I used Simple Green diluted in a spray bottle and kept spraying the wheels until all the junk was gone (don’t let it dry), and then rinsed with my hose. I did not touch the wheels and they still look gorgeous.
